I am Daniel Pettersson and I photograph birds, and sometimes butterflies. About half of the photos are taken in Stockholm County, the rest on journeys in Sweden and abroad.

I like to lie low, close to the ground, with a long telephoto lens. Most of all I photograph just after the sun has set, when the colours remain but the shadows are gone and the background melts into soft bokeh.
